H&M Cargo Inc is a Texas-based Independent Service Provider for FedEx Ground — a locally owned logistics company responsible for last-mile delivery across our contracted service areas.
The typical FedEx Ground contractor runs a single terminal with a handful of routes. H&M Cargo operates four terminals across Texas, running 50 routes with a fleet of 60 trucks and a team of more than 70 drivers and managers.
That scale doesn't change how we work. Every terminal is run with the same hands-on standard: packages delivered on time, drivers treated well, and equipment kept in top condition.
Doorstep delivery, every day
Our reputation is built one stop at a time. These are the values that guide every route we run.
Nothing we deliver is worth more than the people delivering it. DOT compliance, camera-equipped vehicles, and ongoing training are non-negotiable.
Our customers and FedEx Ground count on us for consistent, on-time service — in metro density and rural distance alike.
As an independently owned business, the buck stops with us. We own our service quality at every terminal, every day.
Drivers are the heart of this business. We invest in fair pay, steady schedules, and real opportunities to grow.
We live and work in the Texas communities we serve. Local jobs, local service, local pride.
From fleet maintenance to route planning, we keep refining how we operate so service keeps getting better.
The first FedEx Ground contract: 12 routes out of Sugar Land, serving the southwest Houston metro.
A second Houston-metro terminal adds 10 routes on the bay-side southeast.
13 new routes across South Texas — new territory, new trucks, new drivers.
15 more routes in the greater San Antonio area bring the operation to 4 terminals, 50 routes, 60 trucks, and 70+ team members.
We continue to modernize our operation — from fleet upkeep to smarter systems — so we can keep delivering at the highest standard as the FedEx Ground network evolves.
Commercial delivery to local businesses
H&M Cargo is owner-operated, with leadership involved in the day-to-day across all four terminals — from route planning and fleet decisions to driver hiring and safety standards.
Each of our four terminals is led by an experienced manager responsible for daily dispatch, driver support, and service quality in their territory.
We hire dependable drivers year-round across all four Texas terminals.
